Having undertaken many consultations on behalf of local authorities relating to healthy eating at school, InChannel has now developed a consultation based marketing model to help understand and address the issues which influence and drive pupils’ eating behaviour.
The model focuses heavily on pupil consultation and participation, using their feedback and ideas to shape the service in a way that they find more appealing. This approach is in keeping with HMIE, ‘Hungry For Success’ and Charter Mark guidelines. The views of parents and carers, teachers and catering staff are also incorporated within the model.
